PARG 1 and 2
PARG1
Our mobile communications trailer, PARG 1, provides all round weather emergency communications capability.
It boasts a 30ft pneumatic Clarke telescopic mast, photovoltaic battery power, HF, VHF and UHF RF systems.
A Broadband/Hamnet node connects to our Mesh network including access to our IP phone network.
PARG 2 is a retired hydraulic lighting tower capable of reaching 10 mtrs in height. It will soon become a remote HF tailer, with access to most bands and be fully monitored for battery voltage, solar charge rate and automatic control of the HF radio. Access is to be restricted to club member use only.
